If you are a resident of Colorado and wish to become a medical marijuana caregiver, you will not need to have any medical background or training. Any person above the age of 18 years can submit application for being registered as a medical cannabis caregiver. An aspiring caregiver can talk to the medical marijuana patients; for becoming a caregiver, you must make a patient to enter your name as his or her primary caregiver on the medical cannabis ID card. Download the form from the website of Colorado Department of Public Health. The application form can be submitted via a registered or certified mail or can also be dropped at the drop box. The mailing address is given on the form. Make sure that you include legible photocopies of both the applicant’s (the wannabe caregiver) and patient’s Colorado identification.
